This is one of my favorite places to eat, have a great cup of coffee and fresh chicken salad. Dana, the owner, is the best! Her place used to be near the Independence Monument. A few years ago, she relocated to Tuol Tumpong, not too far from the market. She also has a branch in Tuol Kork. The one in Tuol Tumpong has a theater. She does readings, even poetry slam there. She shows films produced by local and international artists. She does exhibitions of work by local artists. HerJava Creative has expanded into the Factory of Friends, getting young people to think outside the box, promoting various forms of creativities. I always enjoy going there because itβs not just a cafe, but a place to see plays, listen to readings, and see certain exhibitions of the visual art. By spending your money there, youβre supporting her business and the job she provides to the local people.

In addition to drinking tea, you can also have a light meal. There is also children's menu. After 6:30pm, they sell 50%of the bread for meals.

What a beautiful place in Toul Kork! Love how the space is arranged and the menu is really diverse - burgers, soups, salads and freshly baked pastry and bread. Java is an iconic place for Phnom Penh and this location is really nice! Recommend for brunches, lunches and just a cup of coffee. Also if you look for a place to work, check this out!

One of best cafe in Toul Kork. Eco friendly interior makes feel more comfortable. Usually enjoy my weekend brunch here. The seasonal menu(until July), pork with ginger is ok but their Brownie is amazing!! When raining, the atmosphere gets better:)

We've only ordered delivery so far, but the brunch here does not miss. The bagel is huge and fresh. The berry cream cheese stuffed french toast is a dream. Great coffee and environmentally friendly packaging. 5/5 highly recommend. Just need to list their jam on Nham so it can be purchased separately as a side dish. The other branch has it listed, but not this one.

Community Arts
For over 20 years, Java has been a space for creatives and has supported a dynamic arts program including exhibitions, live performances, festivals, artist talks, film screenings and more. Currently we are collaborating with community groups to present exhibitions at both locations as well as live events at our black box theater in Toul Tom Poung. OUR STORY
Family of cafΓ©s & community art spaces in Phnom Penh
Java Creative CafΓ© is a cafΓ© and community art space, established in 2000 at its first location near the Independence Monument. It was created by Dana Langlois with a small team of seven. Now, with partner La Sros, they operate a pair of sister cafΓ©s & art spaces located in Toul Kork and Toul Tom Poung.
Creative Enterprise Pioneer
Java has pioneered a creative enterprise model in Cambodia, using resources of the cafΓ© to support non-profit and independent art programs. Across the three spaces, it presents a curated series of exhibitions, Creative Generation award program and live performances in a black box theater.
Java has been running creative cafΓ©s in Phnom Penh since 2000 and is committed to providing quality f&b and artistic experiences.
