Sala is organized and facilitated by Tara Tran.
Tara is a historian & designer, deco-fem — she researches, writes, and curates decolonizing and feminist projects, for public experience.
She completed her doctoral degree at Johns Hopkins University and conduct archival and field research across Asia, Europe, and North America. Her work deconstructs hospitality by looking at how race, gender, and empire shape hospitality practices across the world.
At the moment, she is a Senior Research Fellow with the Center for Khmer Studies.
